[Private]A Learning Experience?

Kazuku walking the streets of Isera, getting dirty looks from everyone starts getting annoyed.
"Hmph, some things never change." He mumbled.
As he gets closer the the center of Isera he sees a food vendor.
"Mmmm, alittle food wouldn't hurt."

Crow was already at the stand and was ordering. The cart's specialty was takoyaki, a type of fried fish ball covered in sauce. They were delicious. The vendor handed Crow his plate. Crow took one in his mouth and savored the taste. He payed and thanked the chef.

Before Crow leaves kazuku stops him before he leaves.
"What's that called that you ordered?"
Kazuku tries to not be creepy but in this situation there's no escaping it.
Kazuku does an awkward laugh to relief alittle tension.

Kazuku walked to the man and said, "I'll have 4 Takoyaki.".
The man smiles and gives him his food on a plate, kazuku gives the man the money and walks away.He walks up to Crow and says "Hey person, thanks for the help. Most people don't help a person like me around here."Kazuku proceeds to sit next to him, he tends to get extra friendly to anyone who shows him kindness."My name is Kazuku nice to meetcha."

Crow grimaced as his peace and quiet was disturbed. All he wanted to do was sit and enjoy his takoyaki while listening to the buzz of the crowd around him. And... who greets some with 'Hey Person.' Crow though he was masculine enough for his gender to be pretty prominent.

He looked over to Kazuku. "What do you want?" He asked.

Kazuku was surprised and confused at the sudden change in attitude with him,Woah, sorry if I disrupted your uh...afternoon sitting. Kazuku stands up and starts to walk towards the library of magic so he could lift himself from the ignorance he carries with him.He throws his plate in the trash after he finishes his food.

Crow watched as the weird... stranger he just met walked off. He just sat there, finishing off his plate of takoyaki. He started to cast of second thought about Kazuku, but decided against it. Finally, he got up after awhile and tossed the paper plate into the trash. The elven city was a place to behold and one of the greatest spots was the city's giant library. Crow had been there once or twice before, but not with the extent of powers he had now. Perhaps it would be a good time to visit again.

Kazuku walks to the elemental magic section and goes through the books.He speaks quietlyNecromancy, ew, Pyromancy? Fire magic huh? Seems like my kind of bookHe grabs the book and starts to read the book.He starts to wonder if he has to be restricted to only one kind of magic.

Crow approached the entrance of the library and walked inside. There he saw huge bookshelves filled to the brim with knowledge. Most of the books out for public use weren't to his liking, however. Crow approached one of the members of staff and flashed his clearance from working with Exotype.

"Ah, right this way..." the elven girl said merrily. Crow followed her into the back, but not before noticing the man he had seen earlier looking through some magic books.

Kazuku focused on the book starts to smile from what he was reading.Even though he was a bonehead he enjoyed learning new things.He looks up from his book and sees the man he met earlier.He was going to say hello but stops himself when he remembers how he acted earlier and continues to read his book.

The elven girl brought Crow up to a large door and with a few spells and incantations, she opened it right up. Inside looked very much like the outside, but darker and more dimly lit. It was also much quieter, seeing as there were only a select few inside this room. Crow quietly thanked the elven girl and proceeded to one of the book shelves along the room.

He glanced back and forth between the books until something caught his attention. 'Corvidae.' The cover read. It was a book describing an elven professors study of the evolution of beastment, or more specifically the birdmen. Curious, he picked up the book and began flipping through the pages.

Kazuku get's curious as to where that door leads.He stands up from his chair, put's his book back, and walks to the front desk.Excuse me ma'am, where did that door lead?He points to where Crow entered.

The woman behind the desk looked up to Kazuku as he approached and placed a smile on her face. It was part of her job to be friendly.

'Excuse me, Ma'am, where did that door lead?'. The man asked.

"Ah, it's a room containing books that are allowed access too for only higher ranking hunters, companies, or associates to the head of Alfheim. It is off limits to anyone without clearance." She said.

Ah, thank you for the information.He gives her a smile and walks away.Damn, guess there is no way around it.He took a moment to take in the the vast collection of books the library held.It was an amazing site, nothing but pure knowledge open for anyone. Except for that room for "higher" ups. Kazuku goes back to where he found the book on pyromania and takes it to the front desk.Hey, I'd like to rent this book.He shows her the slightly worn book.

The young maiden perked up from behind her desk. Now that the young halfing was close to her, he'd be able to see her features. The elven girl was still young, perhaps equivalent to 18 in human years. Her hair was elegant but short; just neck length. She had cute, but nearly tomboy-ish features. Surprising of a girl working as a librarian.

She reached out to the young man in front of her and gracefully lifted the book out of his hands. The books crisp aroma graced both of their noses, filling them with a calm, but familiar scent; the scent one couldn't help but like from old books which haunted libraries and bookstores alike. The elven girl looked to the book and began flipping through the old pages. A bit of dust would pop up from the book every now and then and fade into the air of the library.

"Ah, you're interested in fire mage?" The girl asked. The subject seemed to pique her interest. "Are you a hunter, then?"

When she popped up he couldn't help but notice her features.She even had the short hair he was into.As she flipped through the pages he caught himself staring at her eyes.To his surprised she actually started conversation being that he is a half-ling."Ah yes, I've been using a fire element technique for awhile now and I didn't even know how magic really worked.I just knew how it felt to draw out the power."As for her second question he had a hard time answering."Well I'm not so much of a hunter as a barbaric who travels defending himself from danger."He was interested in if she knew if he was a half blood."You do know I'm a half-ling, right?"

She was taken back a bit. "Oh, yes, you're a halfling. What is your other half? Beastmen? Human?" she asked. As part of a younger generation, she was more open to the idea of halflings. It was mainly the older generations that cared to keep their lineage pure, but with that it might isolate the other races.

"Human,...most elves don't take kindly to my 'kind'" He starts to tap on the table separating them.He starts doing a very relaxing tempo, almost hypnotic."Thanks for actually talking to me. It's been nice" He reaches out for the book.He then notices that she wasn't done doing her thing. Him being ready to avoid a obviously soon awkward conversation he will create made him look like a moron, which isn't too far fetched."Heh, sorry about that I haven;'t gotten enough sleep lately"Was a blatant lie.

she gave him a half hearted, awkward smile. "That's quite alright." She said. She finished flipping past the book, being sure to write down what she needed too. "Alright, all set, I just need to know your name and a DNA sample. "She said

"My name is Kazuku Garlon, and DNA sample? Like..Saliva?" He looks at her confused and wary of her response.

"Um... a piece of hair will do fine." She said, again, forcing an awkward smile. "It's so our ... trackers will know how to find you if you don't return with our book. We rarely have a problem, but sometimes they can get a little... out of hand. Needless to say, I'd recommend returning the book rather quickly. Alfheim likes to keep it's knowledge in the city."

Kazuku plucks out a strand of his hair hands her it."Here you go. I never got your name"

She took the strand of hair and deposited it into a small space above the desk. Right before it hit the desk, it beam of light rushed forward, disintegrating the piece of hair. A few lights popped up, notifying the girl that the procedure was a success.

"Ah my name is Tora." she said, handing him the book back. At about this time, Crow appeared from behind the door leading to the back room.

Kazuku grabs the book and gives her a warm smile."well see ya soon"As he turns around he sees crow walking out of that room.He gets a small glimpse inside and sees a dark room, he couldn't really make out anything inside.He starts to make his way outside.
