[RP/PVE] [PRIVATE] A Bunch of Rocks

Chrome held her hand out as if she were taking the objects, but never reached out. This was because she lit her own fire with her magic. The tiny fireball was enough to disperse light while keeping control over it. It wasn't anything fancy due to her beginning levels though. "I got it covered. Now, let's go on an adventure."

Quake smirked, "You're full of surprises, silver."

As they descended into the cave system, the tunnel began to grow more and more narrow. Quake hoped it wouldn't end up being a dead end, but the tunnel was long, at least. At his current level he couldn't yet feel an ending to it. The Hunter spoke back toward his white-haired companion, "Where'd you learn all your magic from anyway? I think you're the first person so young that I've met to have more than one element under their belt."

Chrome kept right behind Quake off to the side. She held her fire out, so if anything did see the fire, they couldn't see the body without night vision. Even with said vision, the fire would be a severe distraction of eye-burning light. "I learned from monsters. The books I read help me understand what I learn, but that's only word learning to me. I'm actually trying to pick up Earth, which is why this cavern is perfect."

"I got my ability from my father," Quake lowered his crossbow- for now there was nothing to worry about. "Earth comes naturally to me, so everything I know is self-taught. I'd offer to help you but I wouldn't know where to start teaching someone else. If my source is right, and this was a Stone-kin hold, we might find something on Earth magic in addition to what I'm looking for."

"Wonderful. I hope we find something like that. I wonder how long this tunnel goes for. Feels like we've been walking forever."

The walls next to them began to shake. Something was here with them, very close.

Quake felt the shaking of the immediate area, however he couldn't tell if the source was from outside the cave behind them or deeper in front of them. He made a split-second decision.

"Let's keep going. Hopefully we find an opening or at least a separate clearing."

Nearly seconds after Quake said to keep moving forward, the two of them entered a wide cavern with a drop down of more than several stories. Chrome put her arm across Quake as natural reaction when she saw the darkness of the floor.

"Where are we? Is this the Stonekin place?"

Quake took a look over the drop. It was too dark to see the bottom.

"Well, either it's the Stonekin place... or a monster den," he stated, then picking up a small stone and throwing it over the ledge to see just how long it took to hit the bottom.

No sound ever echoed back...

"Umm, that doesn't sound good at all. I doubt it's infinite so I think you hit something."
